There was no stopping them, as the original "Dr Goodthyme" folk trio merged with the key members of the 'Gemini Sound' Home Counties Rock Group, producing the current Dr GOODTHYME  Band-Drawing their material from early Rock'n'Roll, Past Country and Skiffle hits, and novelty items, they are currently gaining popularity throughout the southern counties, and have just completed their third successful tour in the Black Forest region of Germany.
A strong line-up of five versatile musicians, ready Humorous banter and the driving energy reminiscent of a '60's group is gaining them fans throughout Dorset, Hants and Wiltshire, where they are being promptly rebooked, and the audiences often describe them as "a refreshing change".
The Band  are survivors from an era when groups could recognise a good song, and knew how to deliver it, and not only that, an era where performers knew that entertaining an audience was the most important thing they had to do.

Based in Christchurch, Dorset we play live music without backing tapes or electronic gimmicks, just five musicians enthusiastically playing music they love, loving the music they play and presenting a varied lively programme that entertains and excites, but still provides a strict tempo for dancers. We appeal mostly, but not exclusively to a "middle of the road' Family audience, who want variety and fun in their evening.
